Nerve Irritation
A nerve irritation or pinched nerve is caused when a nerve is somehow damaged or injured by direct pressure or compression.
A nerve irritation in the neck or lower back can be caused by a herniated disc, arthritis, bone spurs, or spinal stenosis. They can be caused as they leave the spine by a herniated disc or bone spurs that form from spinal arthritis. Another common place for pinched nerves is the carpal tunnel. This is a bottleneck area, through which all the finger flexor tendons and the median nerve must pass to the hand.
Symptoms
A nerve irritation or pinched nerve in the low back usually is perceived as radiating down the leg.
A Chiropractor will make some spinal adjustments using different methods to treat the problem. ( each treatment is subject to an intensive Chiropractic examination )
