Knee pain

The Knee is the largest and one of the most complex joints in the body. Causes of knee pain include injury, degeneration, arthritis, possible infection but rarely tumors.

Symptoms

The location and severity of knee pain may vary but there can be swelling and stiffness, redness and warmth to the touch, weakness and instability, a popping and crunching noise, to ‘locking’ or inability to fully straighten your knee.

When visiting the Chiropractor we will assess and evaluate the other joints and muscles relating to the knee. We will try and reduce the joint inflammation and reduce pain, normalise the joint function and provide rehabilitation exercise programmes, which will improve strength, endurance and stability. ( each treatment is subject to an intensive Chiropractic examination )
