Functional Scoliosis

Functional Scoliosis.jpg

Scoliosis causes an abnormal curvature of the spine. The degree of scoliosis may range from mild to severe.

The bend can occur at any point along the spine, from the top to the bottom. The most common areas are the Chest area and the lower part of the back.

Symptoms

The symptoms include: one shoulder or shoulder blade being higher than the other, the hip being more prominent and the child/adult leaning to one side.

Research has shown that using the Chiropractic methods from the onset of being diagnosed with scoliosis ( whatever age ) has stabilizing effects on the spine, and prevented the curve from progressing in young children and adolescences. ( each treatment is subject to an intensive Chiropractic examination )
