Elbow Pain

Elbow pain or Tennis elbow isn’t just caused by playing tennis. It is caused by a strain to the extensor tendons in the forearm. Repeated movements of the wrist can aggravate the pain.

The tendons become inflamed where they join the bony part on the outside of your elbow joint. The Golfer’s elbow is a similar condition, which affects the inside of the elbow joint near the ‘funny bone’.

Symptoms

Discomfort when you move your arm or the pain maybe bad enough to disturb your daily work and sleep. The outside of the elbow will be tender to touch and there is a possibility, in worst cases, swelling to the area.

A Chiropractor will ensure that you rest because elbow injuries are commonly caused by overuse. There is possibly hot and cold therapy too and possible electro-stimulation to increase the healing process.  ( each treatment is subject to an intensive Chiropractic examination ) .
